I finally broke down and got my first hobonichi. A6 day-free. Still not up for doing it every day, but I can maybe do it more if I go smaller.
It's day 43 of lockdown here in the UK… I stick a clip art corona virus on each page of my journal to signify quarantine… I keep having to photocopy them as I'm running out… 😂

Greetings and Felicitations, Empress! Your doodling is so cute – I aspire but yeah. I LOVE Addie's take on the weaponized capabilities of the candlestick in your "new" Clue gaming. The stories you share about your children are delightful and remind me of when my girls were that age. Now they are the campus scheduling manager (making sure those trains run on time – which is sooo her) and a neuroscientist doing things that fly right over my head but she's also my crafting buddy (THAT I can understand). I just finished watching your October 30, 2019 episode because hello – HALLOWEEN (my favorite). Halloween in Iowa weather-wise seems to differ greatly from that attempted in the San Joaquin Vally of California (when you enjoy almonds they likely come from my neighborhood). Here where we swelter during summer (April through October, it really isn't fair) costuming is usually messed up due to it being too hot still. Yes, a full month into glorious autumn and the heat is still blasting at 100F-ish. I suppose that Halloween is best experienced in the charming illustrations of children's books. LOVED Addie's ukelele concert at the end of that episode – strumming along in mostly minor key while singing very much in major key! So adorable! (or as the Oxford English Dictionary word of the day recently opined – AWESOMESAUCE!)

I actually introduced my son (age 16) to the movie Clue (1985) and he thought it was hilarious! I got into journal collages/art books because of this quarantine. I have a whole junk journal dedicated to the time the world stayed home. Blessings to you and your family…enjoy the little ones while they are little. ❤ they just grow up so fast!

I so love watching you journal. The stories behind rhe doodles and entrees are so cute. I write in my journals more than anything because I can't doodle but I use more pictures, stickers, and quotes than I ever did because of you.
Clue is the best game!! And as someone who has long hair, I was always worried that something would happen can light my hair on fire. Ok that and maybe my grandma's scare tactics still work. 😕 And wow, your son does cross stitch?! Best of luck to him!! I either lost my project or instructions. After opening the package, I was never able to get the two together when I had time. Watching you doodle is really relaxing. Part of me wants to get a set of colored pencils and a doodle book or two and start myself. Going to try to start using the free IG doodling directions and see how that goes. There are 2 books/authors that I am very interested in trying out. And the good thing is that one of them does weekly tutorials on Instagram. 😛 So some further research will need to be done, but I am starting to journal/plan a little more digitally after watching your videos. Now to figure out a good way to get images from Andriod to Apple…

I would love to see that Star Wars thing Michael is doing, pretty please 🤩 bobble head boy is so cute. And I totally connected with the story about Henry growing up but being a kid in the yard. I have those moments with my 11yr old. They grow up so fast, not sure I like that. But I am enjoying spending time with the kids now that we're all home. I absolutely love your pages. I probably have watched almost all of them by now. I currently have a fauxbonichi to see if this is something I want to continue. I decided to get a hobonichi for 2021 because the quality seems to be amazing. No pages come loose even you stick quite some things in. I love your style and when and when a lot of things are to discover on one page. I hope to get there too and be more brave. I am still a bit "shy" with the stickers and stuff. You are a good inspiration. What hobonichi will you be getting for 2021? I want the A5 for sure.
Youkre brilliant! I often avoid putting in. A Tip in because I don’t want to cover anything up on the edge or the page below. (Slaps self on forehead), scotch tape!! It’s clear!!
