That was a Great tutorial!
How did you change the background to the checker one?
Thank you so much 😊 can you tell me what settings you use so it doesn’t cut through the backing sheet please? I can’t get the ‘balance right 🤪
Thank you, this is definitely what I looking for .. I already downloaded inks cape ..
I don't wanna use phonto or photopea
5 stars for this video, its up to date and none of the steps were missed and everything was described as you were doing it! First video I've found without "connected" text/images. THANK! YOU!
my own question answered by end of the vid.. thank you!!!
Christy, this is the best, 5 Stars and Kudos.
Love the font for the word sticker. Can u share the name of that font. So cute. Great tutorial 😊😊😊
What if i don't use cricut for printing. If i want to print in Photoshop or Inkscape (if possible in Inkscape),do i still only have to just make offset or i have to make countour cut lines as well?
Thank you so much. Your tutorials are amazing!
Such a great tutorial! I do have a question though. I was using a different color for each of my letters, and after I ungrouped the letters and hit "path > union", the letters all became the same color. How can I prevent this from happening? Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial. When I add the LInked Offset, it flashes with the red border as I pass over the word, but there is no node point to click on and drag. 🙁
So you don't have to resize in Cricut, when you're adjusting the Document Properties, set the scale at 72. Keep the display units as inches. If you only use Inkscape for Cricut designs, set this as a template or the default (also set the document to 12×12).
Thank you for your video, love the step-by-step. I just downloaded Inkscape and my screen looks different. Example, when you say to lock the size there is no lock. Is there a way to set up Inkscape?
I have watched so many tutorials using a number of different programs. This was by far the most clear and accessible. Thank you so much!
I must agree with everyone, i seen many many video on how to use the offset, you are the best… Thank!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been wanting to learn this for quite some time. What I would like to learn also, when you have an image and you want to add test, how do you create the offset with the text and the image? Not on the image but maybe on the top, side or whatever. Would love to know how to do that. Thank you again
mine keep saving with a black background any way to change that?
Thanks so much for your tutorial. So happy I found it!! I'm new to Inkscape and it was very helpful. Can I use a jpeg also to make an offset? I have saved lots of flowers and would love to make stickers from them. Thanks again!
Brilliant thanks for that😃. Your video was so helpful I was struggling using photopea
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, I am now happy I don't have to use so many other programs or some weird steps! Thank you so much this has helped tremendously!!
Best tutorial ever
By far the best explanation of this!! Thanks and great job!!
Is there a way to do multiple offsets for the same word? I would like to create multiples of them with different colors. Thanks!
Same here, I was looking for something like this for many moons and this the clear and easy way to do that. Thank you so much. Little note, some pause or slow down will help us to catch where are the info in the new versions of inkscape. thank you again!
Thank you so much this helped tremendously and I can finally create offsets
When I try to delete nodes it deletes my whole offset how do I fix this
The text part of this is AMAZING! I've lost track of the number of tutorials I've watched trying to get that to work so Thank you so much for that! When I try to do the image version my bitmap popup box is completely different than yours so I'm not sure what to choose. I've tried playing with it a bit but I'm not getting the desired results, any suggestions?
What scale do you use in inkscape settings?
Your video was the only one that was easy and worked on my image.
Thank you very much!! very helpful
Hi, do you have at a tutorial on how you setup inskape? i opened the document properties tab and it's so big and takes up half the screen and i'm also not sure what other tabs should be open on the side.
Brilliant thanks……………………
YES!!! Thank you for no filler words. I'd much rather pause and replay than listen to uuummms and stories.
I cant tell you how many times I've said to my computer, "get to the point already".
How did you create the wreath image though?
