  3. Nice ideas! We are doing the pom-pom jar in my Pre-K classroom this year and the kids love it. I think it does help. πŸ‘ I like the little smiley face and chapstick ideas too. πŸ™‚
Sometimes I give extra high fives to the really good listeners… I just remembered now that last year someone donated us "social distance" hands… they are garden gloves with stuffing inside and they're sewn shut. If the kids were listening well at circle time, they were given a pat on the back or a high five with either an orange glove or a pink glove! They really enjoyed it and were proud of themselves! Ok I should get those gloves back out after spring break! πŸ˜„πŸ˜

  4. We add Tootsie Rolls to a tall clear container and earn a "Tootsie Party" once the candy reaches the line I drew on the jar! A Tootsie Party is an ice cream sundae selection and we divide the tootsies up to eat or end home! This encourages working towards good behavior as a team! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‰

  5. I'm deeply impressed this woman has solved so many preschool issues she's down to being annoyed by stickers!

  6. I put my students faces on runners and move them along a running track on the wall. The idea is they are all running the race and on track to do a great job. I use the phrase, "full control equals full power" and "when you're controlled and doing you're best, you're strong and you can be free to do what you want." On that, I always have tons of play based extension tasks such as book making, writing letters, phonics or math games, activity books I've made relating to units of inquiry we are learning about, or something fun related to learning. I tell students, when you're on track, you finish the race and enjoy freedom, but if you struggle, I can give you more support to catch up, but everyone likes to be free way more

  7. Wonderful tips! Thank you so much for your excellent videos! πŸ™‚ I was also thinking maybe fake tattoos on their hands could be a great reward as well.
